John Williams
Finale / End Credits
Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (1984)In the vein of “shameless”, John Williams goes completely over the top in his score for the second installment of the Indiana Jones quadrilogy, starting with a retelling - of sorts - of the old Cole Porter ditty “Anything Goes”, continuing through “Short Round’s Theme”, the “Temple Of Doom” and the inspiring “Slave Children’s Crusade”.
All of these motifs - neatly gift-wrapped in Williams’s “Finale” - make the score to Temple Of Doom arguably the best out of the maestro’s accompaniments for everyone’s favorite archaeologist.
And the classic.
